Our Beginnings
The idea of an ICT company began in Botswana in the year 2000 when a number of Batswana and Basotho sat to discuss the possibility of business collaboration across the borders of the two countries. Lesotho became the starting point when BL Computers opened its door early in 2000. The company was ultimately registered as BL Skills Development Center a few years later. The beginnings were very steep and as usual unexpected by most of the directors who had expected early success. The turbulent times as usual caused many to lose heart and to abandon the lofty project they had so much loved to pursue. As they slowly made their silent exit the current MD of the company sought outside investors to help catapult the company to new heights. The new investors after having traded under BL Skills Center also lost it along the way and drifted further from the vision of the company and much conflict arose which led to the painful parting of ways. The current MD kept the vision alive and hence refused to give up under very stressful situations. He then registered the company under the current BL SKILLS.COM and kept the company running until it was back on track again. BL stood the test of time and through tenacity will become what the Almighty intended it to be. More than thirteen years of existence is not child's play - our experience is largely unparallelled.

Managing Director
The Managing Director Mr Mohau Rafobane has been with BL in the same capacity since 2000. He Studied at Khanya College and then Proceeded to the University of The Witwatersrand in Johannesburg to obtain a Bachelors degree in Psychology and Sociology and then embarked on a Masters in Development Planning. He did another Masters in Environmental Management. He also worked at Wits as a computer technician in the Department of Geography. He Completed a Diploma in Management Development at the then Rand Afrikaans University. He also attempted another Masters in African Rennaisance at The University of South Africa. He has travelled widely in Southern Africa and East Africa pursuing ICT business interests. Mr Rafobane has even travelled as far afield as Hongkong and China for training in renewable energy. With this background and many other pursuits not mentioned here he is the right person to lead an institution of this nature and magnitude.
Miss Nthabiseng Khabo
Miss Khabo is the face of BL as she will be the first one you will meet when you visit us for services. She plays a variety of roles as she has been trained for a multiplicity of areas of responsibility. She is a receptionist cum secretary. She also does a lot of desktop publishing to meet our clientele.

Mr Maile Maile - Ubuntu
Mr Maile known by his technical name Ubuntu has studied IT at the Lerotholi Polytech and is currently our technical expert. He is also passionate about disseminating his knowledge to our beloved ICT students who have also been affected positively by his passion.

Nthuseng Nell
Nthuseng is our student in Training - It is our practice to train some of our promising students in the practicalities of the ICT business. Nthuseng is one of the beneficiaries who are prepared for the labour market

Mr Ranketu Mots'eare
He worked with us for more than five years until today when he works with us on a consultative basis in his areas of expertise.
